Welcome to Blue Bear Mail. These Terms of Service explain the terms that apply when you visit our website, purchase Blue Bear Mail or join the Blue Bear Mail Club.
By placing an order, you agree to these terms.
1. About Blue Bear Mail
Blue Bear Mail provides personalized physical mail for children, including stories, stationery, collectibles and other small surprises.
Blue Bear Mail is intended to be purchased and managed by adults. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to make a purchase.
2. Blue Bear Profiles
After purchasing, you may be asked to complete a Blue Bear Profile so we can personalize the child’s mail.
The child’s first name and preferences are optional. You are responsible for making sure the information you provide is accurate and that you have permission to provide information about the child.
You can request changes to or deletion of a Blue Bear Profile by contacting us.
3. Blue Bear Mail Club
The Blue Bear Mail Club includes one Blue Bear Mail delivery each month.
When you join the Mail Club, you authorize recurring monthly charges using the payment method provided at checkout.
Your membership continues until you cancel it.
You may cancel at any time. To stop the upcoming month’s mailing, cancellation must be completed by the 5th of the month. Cancellations received after the cutoff will apply to the following month.
4. One-time purchases and gifts
Try Blue Bear Mail is a one-time purchase and does not automatically renew.
A Year of Blue Bear Mail is prepaid and includes 12 monthly deliveries. It does not automatically renew unless otherwise clearly stated at the time of purchase.
5. Mailing schedule
Blue Bear Mail is generally mailed on or around the 15th of each month.
To be included in an upcoming mailing, your order and Blue Bear Profile must be completed by the 5th of that month.
Orders or profiles completed after the cutoff will be included in the following month’s mailing.
Mailing dates may occasionally change due to weekends, holidays, postal interruptions or circumstances outside our control.
6. Shipping and delivery
Blue Bear Mail is currently available to mailing addresses in Canada and the United States.
Mail is sent by regular letter mail and does not include tracking unless otherwise stated.
Delivery times are estimates and cannot be guaranteed. Blue Bear Mail is not responsible for delays caused by postal services, weather, incorrect addresses or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

7. Prices and payments
Prices are displayed on our website and may be changed from time to time.
Applicable taxes and any additional charges will be shown at checkout when required.
Payments are processed through Shopify and its payment processing services. By submitting payment information, you authorize the applicable charges for your purchase or Mail Club membership.
8. Cancellations and refunds
Mail Club memberships can be cancelled at any time.
Because Blue Bear Mail contains personalized materials that are prepared specifically for each mailing, payments for mail that has already entered preparation may not be refundable.

9. What’s inside
The contents of Blue Bear Mail change from month to month.
Images, examples and descriptions on our website are intended to show the type of experience you can expect. Specific stories, stationery, collectibles, stickers, surprises and other contents may vary.
We may substitute an item when necessary with something of similar purpose or value.
10. Safety and supervision
Blue Bear Mail is designed for children ages 4–9.
Some deliveries may contain small paper items, stickers, temporary tattoos or other small surprises. An adult should review the contents and provide supervision when appropriate for the child’s age and abilities.
Please discontinue use of any item if it appears damaged or unsuitable for the child.
11. Intellectual property
Blue Bear Mail, Blue Bear characters, stories, illustrations, designs, logos, written content and other original materials are owned by Blue Bear Mail or used with permission.
They may not be copied, reproduced, sold, distributed or used commercially without permission.
Purchasing Blue Bear Mail gives you the right to enjoy the materials for personal use only.
12. Website use
You agree not to use our website for unlawful purposes, interfere with its operation, attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or misuse Blue Bear Mail content or services.
We may refuse or cancel an order when reasonably necessary, including in cases of suspected fraud, misuse or incorrect information.
If we cancel an order that has been paid for and has not already been fulfilled, the applicable payment will be refunded.
13. Privacy
Your privacy and children’s privacy are important to us.
Information provided through our website and Blue Bear Profiles is handled according to our Privacy Policy.
14. Changes to Blue Bear Mail
We may occasionally update our products, prices, mailing schedule, Mail Club features or these Terms of Service.
Changes will not retroactively alter a purchase that has already been completed unless required by law.
If a material change affects an ongoing Mail Club membership, we will provide notice when required.
15. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Blue Bear Mail is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of our website, postal delays or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws.
16. Governing law
These Terms of Service are governed by the applicable laws of Québec, Canada, without limiting any mandatory consumer rights that may apply based on where you live.
